Introduction

Momentum trading is one of the favourite strategies of all option buyers and active traders to take a position within a trending move. Generally speaking, this strategy can be the starting point for major price moves, expansions in volatility and, when managed properly, can offer limited downside risk and huge returns. By playing momentum, trader can stay in trade for short period of time and churn the capital multiple times for generating higher returns.

Vijay Thakare

Being a trader comes naturally to me as I have been through multiple fields throughout my career. I started as a paper delivery boy, gradually moving to sales and marketing. I successfully launched and managed a BPO for 10 years with a team size of 100 people with client lists ranging from AT&T, Comcast to Verizon. I have been a part-time trader for 3 years and a full-time trader for the past 2 years as an options buyer/scalper/momentum trader. My forte is mainly momentum trading with trades ranging from 30 secs to 3 hours.
