Introduction

The objective of the course is to make the learner comprehend about GDP, inflation, Government policies, interest rates etc and gives them the ability to determine the level of employment, current and future financial state of a nation or a region, equilibrium in the balance of payments, equitable distribution of income and wealth. It develops the analysing skill which helps in predicting the effects of implementing government monetary and fiscal policy and its impact on stock markets.
