- Functioning of Financial Market: Now, we will understand the financial structure of the Indian economy and focus on the capital markets. We will also touch upon the various participants working as stock market intermediaries.
- Understanding Initial Public Offering (IPO): We will then deep dive into the concept of IPO, the different types of public issues, the IPO procedure in India, different investor categories for IPO, the basis of allotment, applying for IPO through ASBA and case study of an IPO on Lodha Developers.

- Learn to analyse a company: We will gain a comprehensive understanding of analyzing the company using Quantitative and Qualitative approaches. Additionally, you will find an extensive guide on an annual report, covering everything from an introduction to its detailed content.

- Classical Chart Patterns and Gap Theory: We will then understand gap theory and classical chart patterns such as Double Top, Double Bottom, Triple Top, Triple Bottom, Head and Shoulders, Inverse Head and Shoulders, Wedges, Flags, Pennants, Symmetrical Triangles, Ascending and Descending Triangles, Cup and Handle, Inverse Cup and Handle, Bullish Rectangular, and Bearish Rectangular.
- Candlestick Chart Patterns: Further, we will learn various candlestick patterns such as Hammer, Shooting Star, Inverted Hammer, Hanging Man, Spinning Tops, Doji, Tweezer Tops, Tweezer Bottoms, Bullish Engulfing, Bearish Engulfing, Piercing, Dark Cloud Cover, Morning Star, Evening Star, and how to track bullish and bearish reversal, continuation, and Doji scans using the StockEdge App.

- Introduction to Options: Next, we will gain an in-depth understanding of call and put options, related terminologies, risk reward and payoff for options buyers and sellers, and intrinsic and time value of options.
- Options Pricing: Now that we know the basics of options, we will learn how to calculate the pricing using the Black Scholes and Binomial models. Under this course, the candidate will be required to appear for the NCFM examination. Please note that the candidate will get the Certificate of Completion of NSE Academy Certified Capital Market Professional after successfully clearing the NCFM Examination.
This exam will be hosted by NSE, for which the candidate needs to go to the NSE approved test centre.
Steps to appear for the above examination:
- Register yourself on NSE website by clicking here: NCFM: Registration. NCFM ID and password will be generated. This ID and password will be used for registering for the examination.

- Check the availability of seats before filling up the form in next step: Check seat availability
- After the above steps, fill in the following: FORM
- A confirmation will be sent by NSE directly to you for the seat booked. This confirmation email may not be sent immediately but may take at least a week to be received by you before the examination date.
- Also, your hall ticket will be uploaded in your NCFM account itself.

- Duration: 2 Hours
- Pattern of Questions: 60 multiple choice-based questions of 2 marks each
- Qualifying Percentage: 50%.There is no negative marking for this module.

You can download your certificate from the "My Certificates" tab available on your Elearnmarkets dashboard within 10 days from the date of Certificate application done successfully.
