Introduction
This will be a webinar cum mini-workshop where the attendees will learn the practical side of Index options trading and 2 actionable options writing strategies. We will cover the essentials of the options greeks. We will also discuss how option greeks impact a trading strategy in a practical way.
We will learn how to build and back-test the strategies on algotest.in, a user-friendly platform for options. We will learn how to combine strategies and benefit from building a portfolio of strategies, rather than trading 1 single strategy.
We will look at how to deploy the strategies on paper trading and then trade it live in the markets automatically, all at the click of a button.
This does not require any knowledge or background in coding and therefore it will appeal to traders from all back-grounds.

Vivek also offers independent Algo Trading design, and development consultancy and works as a mentor with traders who want to move to rule-based trading (www.vivekgadodia.com)
Vivek's educational background includes a degree in Commerce, Masters in Management Studies from Sydenham, and an Executive Program in Applied Finance from IIM-Calcutta. Vivek started his career as a programmer-analyst with CMC Ltd. where he was designing and developing a core ERP system for the Reserve Bank of India to cut pan-India payroll processing time by over 50%. Vivek then moved to HSBC India and launched a fully electronic self-service HR portal catering to 30000 employees with end-to-end API linkages with Global Payroll. Post that, he managed Trading Technology and set up the Institutional Algo Desk for MF Global Sify Securities, a spin-off from the Man Group (a Hedge Fund which runs the AHL System), when SEBI launched the DMA policy in India. He worked closely with an exceptional group of High-Frequency Proprietary Traders in India called RKSV (now known as Upstox). Vivek was responsible for managing the execution of 3% of BSE's Daily Cash turnover using HFT systems.
