In this 75th video of the face2face series, we have with us Mr. Vivek Bajaj, co-founder, StockEdge, Elearnmarkets, in conversation with Mr. K.K, someone who doesn’t like to be in the limelight. He is a graduate of Statistical Studies and Computer Science. He has developed a strategy that has been very successful for him and wishes to share that with his fellow investors and traders. 

The emphasis is placed on the importance and benefits of ETFs or Exchange Traded Funds, an extremely popular instrument in developed markets such as the USA but is still in the growth stage in India. Mr. K.K will share his analogy called Mr. Market, someone who is a fictional character who is with a huge amount of capital and only makes profits in the markets. Based on that he will explain how smaller investors can beat the returns of Mr. Market too. Mr. K.K himself has been making close to 20% CAGR returns over the past decade.

He will walk us through the functions of regulatory organisations like the Government, SEBI, Exchange, and RBI as well as market participants like FIIs, DIIs, HNIs, and Retail Investors. He will explain the effects that these participants have on market cycles. Next, he will discuss his investment approach, which uses NiftyBees, BankBees, and GoldBees to focus on three financial instruments: Nifty, Bank Nifty, and Gold. He emphasizes the value of maintaining discipline while implementing the strategy. Finally, he will talk about his coding skills and two systems he employs, including algorithmic trading, also known as algo-trading.
