He started his professional journey with CNBC-TV18, India’s largest business news channel as an intern and was promoted to Head of Research in five years. The last position he held at CNBC-TV18 was Corporate Editor & Head of Research. Mr Varinder spearheaded the equity research team in the channel, which included in-depth analysis of financial statements of listed companies in India. He was in charge of all key events like the Union Budget, India Business Leader Awards & others, and hence traversed the entire gamut of macro vision to micro calculations, a big plus for an investor. Mr Varinder has strong relationships with corporates, market experts and other intermediaries, all vital ingredients for a well-rounded investor.
